Gardner Minshew II suffers a season-ending collarbone injury in a huge blow to the Raiders quarterback

Raiders quarterback Gardner Minshew II has suffered a season-ending collarbone injury.

Minshew left the Raiders’ final loss to the Broncos on Sunday after being hit on his left shoulder.

And according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport and Mike Garafolo, the passer will miss the rest of the season with a broken collarbone.

After the game, Raiders coach Antonio Pierce told reporters that Minshew’s injury “doesn’t look good.”

Minshew had 230 passing yards with a touchdown and interception before leaving the game in the second half.

He was replaced by Desmond Ridder, who finished with 64 passing yards.

The Raiders ultimately lost the game 29–19.

Minshew’s injury came after Panthers tight end Ja’Tavion Sanders was carted off the field after landing on his head.

Sanders had caught a pass from Bryce Young when he was hit low by Chiefs defenseman Trent McDuffie.

Sanders then spun into the air and landed out of bounds on the back of his head before trainers rushed to his side in a scary scene.

And Commanders running back Austin Ekeler was also seen motionless on the field after taking a massive hit to the head from Dallas’ Damone Clark before also landing on the grass with his helmet.

Commandants coach Dan Quinn confirmed after the game that Ekeler had suffered a concussion.
