Saquon Barkley has been making all the headlines for the Philadelphia Eagles. However, Jalen Hurts is quietly having a fantastic season.

He’s only thrown 12 touchdown passes in his 10 games, but with the team being 8-2, you can’t say that’s had an impact on their ability to win games. He has an average QB rating of 101.8 and has thrown just three interceptions.

You’d be forgiven for thinking that my best guess might be for Hurts to add to his 11 rushing touchdowns, but despite scoring nine times in the past five games, I expect Hurts to go for over 218.5 passing yards against the Rams.

First, we’ve seen Hurts average just above that, with 219.7 passing yards per game. He’s been better with his arm over the past month, throwing for over 218.5 passing yards in three of his last four games and only going under that total in four of 10.

The Rams haven’t been great against the pass, and their defense has the 11th-worst record in passing yards, averaging 223.3 per game.

Hurts is currently playing at an impressive level and doing what it takes to get his team the W. The threat that the run game brings does a great job of keeping the defense honest, which should allow Hurts to get the passing game. to go.
