Dwayne Johnson takes daughters Jasmine and Tiana to Make-A-Wish visit in Hawaii

Dwayne Johnson shared a heartfelt and “very emo” moment with his two youngest daughters during an “extra special” trip to Hawaii.

On Sunday, November 24, the 52-year-old actor posted a video to Instagram of a recent experience he had with the nonprofit Make-A-Wish, which aims to grant the wishes of children with serious illnesses.

Johnson brought along his daughters Jasmine Johnson, 8, and Tiana Johnson, 6 — whom he shares with wife Lauren Hashian — as he paid a special visit to five of the charity’s beneficiaries.

“I try my best to never get emotional in these moments, but I get very emo when I watch this again,” he captioned the video.

The Moana star went on to say that it was an “honor” to “grant wishes” for the nonprofit. He also noted that it was “extra special” that his “two little tornadoes” wanted to join him.

Johnson said he arranged transportation for the five children and their families to meet him and attend the meeting Moana 2 world premiere in Hawaii on Thursday, November 21.

“What a beautiful day to meet these children. Their strength and resilience inspires EVERYONE around them – including me,” the actor added. “To all their mothers, fathers and siblings that I have met – I feel it in every hug and handshake. I know. Stay strong.”

He ended his moving post with a shout-out to his “amazing partners” at Make-A-Wish, saying these experiences are the “best part of fame.”

The video features Johnson, Jasmine and Tiana as they meet some Make-A-Wish families and hear their personal stories. The former wrestler also receives some presents from the children, including a handmade clay necklace in the shape of his Moana character Maui’s fishing hook.

Johnson also shares daughter Simone, 23, with ex-wife Dany Garcia.

The actor was joined by his three daughters and his wife at the film’s Hawaii premiere, which took place in Oahu. He posed on the red carpet with the foursome and his mother, Ata.

The entire crew rocked floral leis around their necks on the carpet. His youngest two girls wore matching orange, pink and yellow tie-dye dresses, while his eldest wore a long floral dress and a hanging choker.

Johnson walked the carpet in a light blue suit, while his wife wore an elegant dark green dress and his mother wore a black and orange patterned ensemble.

The film sequel reunites the titular character and Maui three years later for a new ocean adventure. “After receiving an unexpected call from her traveling ancestors, Moana must travel to the distant seas of Oceania and dangerous, long-lost waters for an adventure she has never experienced before,” according to the film’s synopsis.

Moana 2 arrives in theaters on Wednesday, November 27.
