In the aftermath of Sunday’s 37-20 win over the Rams, much of the post-game conversation about the Eagles focused — rightly so — on running back Saquon Barkley.

But receiver AJ Brown also had a significant hand in Philadelphia beating Los Angeles, as he caught six passes for 109 yards with a touchdown.

Considering the Eagles were without fellow receiver DeVonta Smith, who was inactive due to a hamstring injury, Brown’s play made much more of a difference.

“He just shows up,” quarterback Jalen Hurts said after the game. “He shows up and I think we all play complementary ball and all the different things we can do offensively.

“It was a great game that he was able to show up in some of those moments and do that without our guy DeVonta Smith, who we were missing. But everyone just shows up and takes advantage of the opportunities, and AJ made a great play, made a great move in the open field, and he does what he does.”

Although Brown missed three games due to injury, he still has 39 passes for 727 yards with four touchdowns in 2024.
