Morning rain is expected in Rockland County, but there could be a mix of rain and snow on Thanksgiving evening. Then it will be partly cloudy with a chance of rain and snow after midnight.

However, according to the forecast, little to no snow accumulation is expected in either province.

Rain is expected to fall in South Westchester on Thanksgiving. But areas in northern Westchester bordering Putnam could also likely raise more questions about some snow.

Ahead of Thanksgiving, Wednesday in Westchester is expected to be mostly sunny, with highs around 49 degrees. Wednesday night may be cloudy, with a 40% chance of showers after 1am and lows around 38 degrees.

Rain and snow are likely after midnight Wednesday in Putnam and Rockland, but no accumulation is expected.
