Zach Bryan wants fans to take the high road.

The country singer stopped his show in Tacoma, Washington, on November 23 after an unidentified object was thrown onto the stage from the audience, apparently hitting Bryan’s guitarist in the leg.

The 28-year-old stopped playing, walked to the microphone and asked, holding up the small object, “Who threw this?” Who was it? Do we know?”

No one in the crowd or around the perpetrator in question confessed to the incident, which was filmed by many concertgoers and shared online.

“Don’t throw shit at concerts,” Bryan told the crowd. “And if you know who threw it, if we ever find out who did it, we can get them out of here.”

The tense exchange comes after a difficult few weeks for Bryan in the wake of his divorce in October Brianna “Kip” LaPaglia. After the “High Road” singer announced their split on social media, his ex-Barstool Sports podcaster shared her own version of events, accusing Bryan of emotional abuse and saying she was “blindsided” by the split news .

E! News previously reached out to Bryan for comment but did not hear back.

The podcaster has also accused Bryan of cheating on her throughout their yearlong romance, adding in a TikTok comment: “The week he showed me my engagement ring he was DMing girls hahahahah.”
