The North Carolina Tar Heels men’s basketball team will play the Auburn Tigers in the semifinals of the Maui Invitational on Tuesday night (11 p.m. ET, ESPN) at the Lahaina Civic Center in Hawaii.

The 12th-ranked Tar Heels (4-1) and fourth-ranked Tigers (4-0) recovered from double-digit deficits to remain on the championship side of the bracket in the three-day tournament. UNC has won three of four games against Auburn, but the Tigers won the last meeting, beating the Heels by 17 in the Sweet 16 of the 2019 NCAA Tournament on their way to the Final Four.

The winner of Tuesday’s game will play Memphis (5-0) or Michigan State (5-1) in the championship game of the Maui Invitational on Wednesday (5 p.m., ESPN).
