    The most exciting day of the year for Spotify users is almost here: when their annual Wrapped drops.

    Spotify’s Wrapped allows users to think about all their favorite songs and view their streaming data from the past 12 months. You can also share your stats with friends, see who had a better top artist of the year, and poke fun at the embarrassing songs that made it onto your charts.

    But what about those who use Apple Music or Soundcloud? Here’s a short list of music streaming services with year-end recaps.

    When will Spotify Wrapped 2024 be released?

    Spotify has yet to announce when 2024 Wrapped will be released; However, based on previous years, USA TODAY says it will take place in late November or early December.

    In recent years, Spotify has increased the release date of Wrapped. Last year’s Wrapped was published on November 29. In 2022, Spotify Wrapped was released on November 30. In 2021 and 2020, it was released on December 1. In 2019 it was released on December 5 and in 2018 on December 6.

    Will Spotify stop tracking user data on October 31?

    Spotify has assured users that the rumor is false.

    The audio streamer shared on X last month a Halloween image of a jack-o’-lantern filled with candy and a message that read: “Spotify Wrapped won’t stop counting on October 31st.”

    How can I watch my Spotify Wrapped when it drops?

    According to last year’s instructions, users should update their Spotify to the latest version.

    The “Spotify Wrapped” package should appear on the front page of the platform’s iOS and Android apps. Users can expect an invitation to view their Wrapped report when they open the app.

    When is Apple Music’s ‘Replay’ coming out?

    For Apple Music listeners who might be feeling left out, you also have your end-of-year gift to open.

    Apple Music Replay collects Apple Music users’ listening data for the year, including top songs, artists, albums, and total listening minutes. The platform released this feature in 2022 to compete with the popular Wrapped.

    The exact release date has not been announced. Last year it was released on November 28th.

    The platform has already released the 2024 Artist of the Year, giving singer Billie Eilish the title.

    How do I view my Apple Music Replay when it goes down?

    Apple Music users can access their Replay by finding the Listen Now tab in the app, scrolling to the Replay section, tapping the Replay ’24 playlist, and then selecting the plus button at the top right.

    After that, Apple Music users can check out their Replay ’24 in the Playlists section of their library all year long.

    How to find your YouTube ‘My Music’ summary

    Last year, YouTube Music listeners also got their first taste of a year-end music roundup. Following Spotify’s approach, YouTube Music listeners see their most listened to songs, artists and albums, and the platform matches them by moods and themes.

    To access your YouTube Music Recap, simply log into your account in the app or in a browser. You can also access your summary via the regular YouTube app.

    Is a SoundCloud version of Spotify wrapped?

    SoundCloud has a version of Spotify Wrapped called SoundCloud Playback. It’s not as social media friendly as the other streaming platform summarizes, but it does summarize the listening habits of each user year after year.

    Playback is just a playlist of the most listened to songs from the past year.

    SoundCloud users can’t access their 2024 Playback playlists yet, but should receive an email when it’s ready to listen to. However, SoundCloud’s Playback playlists are expected to disappear soon, as they are based on music played by each listener between January 1 and November 30 each year.

    Is Pandora still offering its ‘Playback’ wrap-up?

    According to posts from the Pandora Community, the music streaming platform’s annual review is no longer available. It’s unclear when officials discontinued the feature or how long it was available.
