WR Romeo Doubs among three Packers ruled out vs. Dolphins

GREEN BAY, Wis. – Due to the quick handling of Thursday night’s game, Green Bay Packers receiver Romeo Doubs was unable to clear the concussion protocol to play in time for the Thanksgiving game against the Miami Dolphins.

Doubs suffered the concussion during Sunday’s win over the San Francisco 49ers. He ranks second on the team this season with 34 receptions and 483 receiving yards. He also has two touchdown catches.

As expected, cornerback Jaire Alexander (knee) and linebacker Edgerrin Cooper (hamstring) were also ruled out for the second straight game. The Packers didn’t hold any real practices this week — just walk-throughs, so it would have been difficult for them to show they’ve made progress.

Center Josh Myers (chest) and linebacker Isaiah McDuffie (ankle) were listed as questionable. However, if the Packers had practiced on Wednesday, they would have competed at some level, meaning there is a good chance they will play on Thursday.
