Apple AirPods Pro 2 normally cost $249. Right now you can grab them for an absolutely low price: $154. That’s a full $95 off the list price. With Black Friday just hours away, this price may not last long.

The price is available at Walmart and you can order online for shipping on November 29 or pick up in store tomorrow. And shortly after the price went live at Walmart, Amazon matched (actually undercut it by 1 cent, making the price $153.99, to be exact).

These prices are the lowest either retailer has ever sold these headphones for. And it follows a series of yo-yo price drops in the run-up to Black Friday, so you could pay either €189 or €169 depending on the day you placed your order. But this price undermines everything else.

And it’s a good time to buy AirPods Pro 2. There are no indications that a new version will be released anytime soon, and new features are released regularly.

AirPods Pro 2 offers remarkably good sound, especially thanks to class-leading noise cancellation. And since AirPods 4 with ANC cost $179, the current offering undercuts that by $25, and the noise cancellation on the Pro 2 is much better than on AirPods 4. There’s also a Transparency mode, so you can hear the outside world without removing the earbuds. and Adaptive Audio combines transparency and ANC.

In addition to ANC, AirPods Pro 2 have strong noise isolation, thanks to the four different sizes of silicone eartips. You can now shake your head to decline a phone call, or nod to accept it.

One of the newest features is the hearing test, which is currently in beta. This feature allows you to take a short test to find out if you have hearing loss after listening to three beeps for about five minutes. In some countries, such as the US, this feature means AirPods Pro 2 can work as a clinical-grade hearing aid, with personalized dynamic adjustments.

Add in spatial audio, decent battery life, a MagSafe charging case and Find My capabilities and you have some of the most accomplished earbuds around.

The Walmart price is said to have expired by now, but has remained live due to Amazon price matching. But who knows how long it will last?
