High point, NC – High Point University will host the Big South Volleyball Tournament for the third year in a row. HPU was announced as host after winning the Big South Conference regular season during the 2023 campaign. The tournament begins on Friday, November 22 with the quarterfinals and concludes on Sunday, November 24 with the crowning of a Big South champion. The Panthers earned the No. 1 seed with a bye to the semifinals and will play the winner of the 4/5 seed matchup Saturday at 3 p.m.

Regular season recap
High Point finished the regular season with a 21-6 overall record and a 13-1 record in league play. The Panthers recorded 12 sweeps on the season, with the most recent sweep coming in the final game of the regular season at Radford. HPU is led in attack by Dylan Maberry with 405 kills in her 100 sets played, averaging 4.05 kills per set on the outside. The duo of Arica Davis and Baylea Sparks were a threat at the net in the middle, each reaching over 100 blocks during the regular season. Jordyn Schilling guides the team in the back row at the libero spot with a total of 491 digs for an average of 4.91 digs per set. She also leads the team and conference in service aces with 47. High Point has alternated between a 6-2 rotation and a 5-1 rotation all season with the help of Allie Gray And Hannah Hawkins like the setters. Gray has tallied 648 assists, while Hawkins has tallied 405 assists.



NCAA Tournament – How does it work?
The winner of the Big South Volleyball Championship earns an automatic bid to the first round of the NCAA tournament. The selection show takes place on December 1.
