I’ve covered the Black Friday sales for eight years and these are the best deals I’ve spotted today

Refresh

Good morning to any early risers on the US East Coast who are joining me first thing to check the best Black Friday deals available right now.

If you want to know what’s caught my eye so far and already proving popular with our readers, it’s this Hulu and Disney Plus bundle for $2.99 per month for a whole year. That’s a massive saving throughout your membership on two top streaming services with some excellent shows like The Bear, Only Murders in the Building, and The Handmaid’s Tale.

PS5 Pro deal

The EE Store’s offer on the new PlayStation 5 Pro is still live for Black Friday and I think it’s the best way to get the console right now.

First up, there’s a £40 flat discount on console, which isn’t available anywhere else. Then, you can also trade in your current PS5 to get an extra £260 off. That’s from £230 for the console and another £30 through a limited-time voucher that boosts the rebate.

If I manage to get the PS5 Disc Drive, this is the one I’m going for.

US folks, I’ll keep an eye out for deals for you later today.

PlayStation 5 Pro: was £695 now from £399 at EE Store

Back to the PS5 Disc Drive for a second. I just had it in my basket at Amazon in the UK but it sold out before I could finish the transaction. Kind of infuriating, but a somewhat positive sign if you’ve got an eye out for a restock over Black Friday. Chances are it’ll go as quick as this again but fingers crossed for more on the way.

Now, if you or I do get it, it’ll be time to decide where to get the PS5 Pro. And on that point…

Here’s one if you’re looking to upgrade to one of the latest iPhone 16 models this Black Friday. We’ve bagged an exclusive deal with the Carphone Warehouse that gets you a £150 Amazon gift card on any pay monthly iPhone 16 family handset.

Hop through the link below and enter your email to get access to the offer and then simply choose from one of the many iPhone deals at the retailer. Prices start at £29.99 per month with 500GB of data and your Amazon gift card should come within 60 days of purchasing.

There’s also been some rumblings about a restock of the PS5 Disc Drive over Black Friday – the much sought-after accessory for the PS5 Pro that allows you to play physical games on the digital-only console. It’s one that’s on my radar, too, as I won’t upgrade to the PS5 Pro if I can’t play my current library of physical games.

While some appeared to have some early success at Amazon and Currys in the UK, I haven’t seen any other stock right now. I know our TRG team are keeping an eye out for any restocks as well so I’ll share anything they spot today.

Well, that Ninja air fryer sold out fast at Amazon! Don’t fret, it’s also available at Argos for the same price. Given how quick it went before, though, you might want to get this in your basket as soon as possible.

Ninja AF300UK Dual Basket Air Fryer: was £219.99 now £100 at Argos

Here it is: what will undoubtedly be the best air fryer deal in the UK this Black Friday. I’ve seen this popular and best-selling model from Ninja discounted a handful of times throughout the month and it’s now down to a record-low of £100 for the big day.

It’s also the one we scored the full five stars in our Ninja AF300UK review for its versatility and ease of use, so it’s the one I’d recommend you snap up while you can get it at such a considerable discount.

I’m doing another pass at all the important UK retailers right now to see if there are any new and noteworthy Black Friday sales live this morning. It mostly looks like the same as earlier this week, but there are a handful of new products on sale at the likes of Argos this morning and some further reductions on most-wanted products including air fryers.

I’ll share my favorites over the next few hours.

More from the Dell Black Friday sale now. Definitely check out this Inspiron 15 laptop, which features a 12th-gen Intel Core i7 processor, 16GB of RAM, and 1TB of storage for under $500. That’s a phenomenal price for a dependable, well-designed laptop that’s perfect for everyday use.

If you’re looking for a slim and lightweight laptop with a large display, the Dell XPS 15 is an excellent option and one of our favorites at TechRadar. Dell’s online store offers some fantastic Black Friday deals for this model in both the UK and the US.

The two XPS 15 configurations mentioned above are nearly identical and offer great value for money, especially compared to the 15-inch MacBook Air, which remains considerably more expensive – even when discounted during events like Black Friday

And now, a few laptops to consider this Black Friday, picked by TechRadar’s Components Editor John Loeffler.

Gaming laptops, particularly those featuring Nvidia RTX graphics cards, don’t typically come to mind when you think of “budget-friendly”. However, Black Friday deals like $400 off the Acer Nitro V15 are changing that narrative.

This Acer gaming laptop boasts an RTX 4060, one of the most popular GPUs according to Steam’s hardware survey, along with a powerful Core i9-13900H processor (a favorite in gaming laptops like the Origin EON 16SL). It also comes equipped with 16GB of DDR5 RAM and a 512GB SSD to house your gaming library.

For under $900, that’s an impressive package of high-end components. Grab it before the sale ends, and the price jumps back to $1,300 for this 1080p gaming powerhouse.

Google Pixel 9

After a new phone this Black Friday. You may be in luck – as there’s a huge price cut on the Google Pixel 9 at Amazon in the retailer’s Black Friday sale.

We think the latest handset from Google is the biggest and best upgrade yet with a slick new design, impressive camera and handy AI features. The value for money is undeniable, too, with this offer smashing the previous record-low price by $200. To get a flagship phone for less than $550 is quite incredible.

Next are two recommendations from TechRadar’s Global Editor in Chief, Marc McLaren.

Roomba Robot vacuums are a Black Friday favorite, and Amazon has this Q0120 model on sale for $149.99. That’s a record-low price and an incredible deal for a robot vacuum.

Designed for homes with pets in mind, the Roomba features three levels of powerful suction for custom cleaning on carpets and hard floors, and it recharges itself when the battery is low.

I’ve asked some of my colleagues for some of their favorite Black Friday deals and first up is TechRadar’s US Mobile Editor Philip Berne.

Amazon has new Kindle ereaders, and we have a new pick for the best Kindle: the Kindle Paperwhite Signature Edition (2024). Of course, the Paperwhite SE is already on sale for Black Friday, along with the Kindle Paperwhite and the new base model Amazon Kindle.

The Kindle Paperwhite Signature Edition was a favorite in our review because it gives you everything that Kindle can offer right now – except for color, of course. For that, you’d need a Kindle Colorsoft, but sadly Amazon’s new color Kindle isn’t on sale right now. Until then, this is easily the best option.

A flip phone gives you a huge display that you can fold up and fit in your front pocket, and the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 is our favorite one because it’s durable and professional, with a splash of colorful fun. It’s on sale for Black Friday from Amazon and Samsung, and the better deal depends on if and what you have to trade.

If you aren’t trading a phone, get the Galaxy Z Flip 6 from Amazon for less than $800, depending on your chosen color (the mint green is only $772). If you have a phone to trade or want an exclusive color, Samsung will give you up to $750 if you trade last year’s Galaxy Z Flip 5 or something else good.

LG B4 OLED TV on green background

The best OLED TV from Best Buy’s Black Friday sale is LG’s 48-inch B4 OLED on sale for $599.99 – a record-low price. That’s the cheapest OLED TV you can find and an incredible price.

The 2024 display packs LG’s latest Alpha 8 AI processor, which uses AI to detect what you’re watching to improve picture and sound quality. Thanks to its self-lit OLED pixels coupled with Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos, you get a brilliant picture with bold colors and deep contrasts.

Apple Watch SE 2

Okay, I know what you’re thinking – another Black Friday Apple deal. But this is the cheapest Apple Watch you can find right now, and it’s a must-have if you’re on a budget but want to buy a feature-packed smartwatch.

The Apple Watch SE tracks activity, sleep, and calories burned and will notify you when a high or low heart rate is detected. The water-resistant smartwatch also helps you stay connected by allowing you to receive notifications, take calls, and reply to texts directly from your wrist.

Today’s deal from Walmart is a new record-low price and beats Amazon’s current offer by $20.

Sonos Roam 2 in 'Wave'

If you want a Bluetooth speaker that delivers bold, rich sound and is plenty portable, this is the deal for you. The Sonos Roam 2 is down to the record-low price of $139, a sharp 22% discount off the $179 MSRP.

In TechRadar’s review, the Roam 2 scored four-and-a-half stars, and we wrote that it “delivers rich and clear sound reproduction that shows off every element of a track” and is plenty intuitive. That is important for any speaker, but even more so for one that connects over Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. It also works with the broader Sonos ecosystem and can be grouped with other speakers like the Era 100 or Move 2, and it’s a winning recipe.

Sonos Roam 2: was $179.99 now $139 at Amazon US

Sonos Roam 2: was £149.17 now £112.75 at Amazon UK

Echo Pop

I already own the third-generation Echo Dot and can’t imagine life without it. The smart speaker plays music, answers any question I ask, and tells me the weather – all I have to do is ask Alexa.

The compact Echo Pop is Amazon’s latest smart speaker and shares all the same features I love about the Echo Dot but in a more compact design. The best part? It’s now on sale for just $17.99 – a price too good to pass up.

Echo Pop: was $39.99 now $17.99 at Amazon

MacBook Air M1 on a blue background

This is the best price you’ll find on an Apple MacBook, and I’m shocked it’s still in stock. Walmart is the only retailer that still has the M1 model for sale, and at just $599, it’s an absolute steal.

While the MacBook Air M1 is an older model (released in 2021), the 13-inch laptop still packs Apple’s powerful M1 chip, 256GB of storage, 8GB of RAM, and up to 18 hours of battery life.

Amazon Fire TV Omni Mini LED Deal Black Friday 2024

While Amazon’s Fire TV Omni Mini LED lineup launched in November 2024, it’s already at its lowest price ever – and it’s not just a small discount. You can save up to $320 on the 85-inch model.

If that’s too big, though, Amazon also offers 55-, 65-, and 75-inch sizes, all of which boast the same Mini LED technology for a more immersive picture. In fact, Amazon promises it to be its best viewing experience yet from any Fire TV. While we haven’t gone hands-on yet, it should shape up to be an excellent lower-end Mini LED TV, likely offering competition to Hisense and TCL.

Amazon 65-inch Fire TV Omni Mini LED: was $1,089.99 now $919.99 at Amazon

Lego up house deal

Whether you’re shopping for a Lego or Disney fan – or if you are one – this might just be the deal for you. Amazon is offering a sharp 20% discount on one of the most iconic homes ever featured in an animated film building set.

The LEGO Disney and Pixar ‘Up’ House lands at just under 600 pieces and is down to just $47.99 (originally $59.99) on Amazon right now. You’ll get mini-figures for Carl Fredricksen and Russell, as well as one depicting Doug, the dog. And, of course, you’ll build the iconic house complete with balloons.

Beats Solo 4 headphones in black, pink and blue colors

If you’re after some good-sounding, long-lasting, and comfortable headphones that won’t break the bank this Black Friday, look no further. While not the flagship within the Beats by Dre lineup, the Solo 4 on-ear headphones are relatively new – last refreshed earlier in May of 2024 – and under $100 on Amazon right now.

These stick with the now easily recognizable Beats Solo design language and still come in a few fun shades, but the internals are new and play nicely with both iOS and Android devices – meaning you’ll get fast pairing with both. You’ll also get up to 50 hours of battery life, and the Beats signature sound will still be in full force.

Apple Watch Series 10

We’ve all come to expect some epic discounts on all things Apple for Black Friday, and 2024 certainly didn’t disappoint. Beyond the MacBook Air savings listed below, you can get the newest Apple Watch on the block at a significant discount.

Amazon has the Apple Watch Series 10 42mm for just $329 (originally $399) or the larger 46mm for $359 (originally $429). For either size, it’s the lowest price we’ve tracked, and you get a larger screen size year over year. Thankfully, more applications are optimized to take advantage of this, including reviewing messages, reading emails, and even news stories. It also does everything you’d expect an Apple Watch to do, like deeply integrating with your iPhone, track workouts, and a boatload of health features.

Samsung's The Frame TV

It’s not often that you can save on one of the most iconic TVs, but Black Friday is serving up a mega discount on Samsung’s The Frame TV. In fact, you can save up to $1,300 on the 2024 model of the Frame TV, which displays famous works of art or photos when off instead of just powering down to a typical black screen.

Adding to that, the 4K QLED screen is finished with a reflection-blocking coating and Samsung’s Tizen smart interface, and you’re getting a very well-rounded TV. To get the total $1,300 discount, you’ll need to opt for the 85-inch Frame TV, which is much more affordable at $2,999.99 (originally $4,299.99). We think most folks will be best served by the 65-inch Frame TV, which is down to just $1,299.99 (originally $1,999.99) after an instant $700 discount.

The Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra on a blue background with text saying Lowest Price.

Here’s a Black Friday deal that just keeps getting better and better. It’s on the incredibly popular Galaxy Watch Ultra – the best smartwatch that Samsung currently makes. Sure, it’s not for everyone, but this exceptionally rugged wearable is a perfect choice if you’re on the hunt for out-door focused features.

This smartwatch was already listed with a $160 discount but Samsung has just upped that to $215 off – and the maximum trade-in rebate has also been increased from $250 to a record-breaking $300. Not bad!

Deals on Amazon’s Kindle e-readers have always been a popular fixture in the annual Black Friday sales but decent price cuts have been rare this year. That is, of course, until we spotted this record-low price on the latest 2024 model.

At $85, this one is a pretty damn cheap buy considering it’s one of the best e-readers on the market and all you need to get started. New features for this model include a brighter display and six-week battery life that’s perfect for taking on long trips, although it does lack a few of the bells and whistles of the higher-end Paperwhite models.

Microsoft Surface Pro 11 on a red background

I’ve had a Surface Pro since the sixth iteration of the laptop/tablet hybrid and I’d happily recommend it to anyone interest. It’s a superb device that’s equally as capable as a laptop for tablet with the added convenience of a touchscreen for easier browsing and navigating apps.

The series has often had its struggles but the latest Surface Pro 11 is easily one of the best iterations yet. This configuration has a powerful and efficient Snapdragon X Plus processor, 16GB of RAM and a 512GB SSD – all for a record-low price of $899 at Best Buy.

Sony WH-1000XM5

Looking for an incredible pair of headphones for Black Friday? I’d highly recommend Sony’s class-leading WH-1000XM5 – the brand’s flagship wireless noise cancelling cans. As you’d expect, these are pretty pricey buys but today’s Black Friday sales at Amazon has these headphones for their lowest ever price right now with a 25% saving.

Sony WH-1000XM5 headphones: was $399.99 now $298 at Amazon

More on that Hulu deal from earlier. If you want you can also bundle it with a Disney Plus membership and pay just $2.99 a month for a whole year. That’s a fantastic saving on the pair of popular streaming services, with great shows I really enjoyed such as Only Murders in the Building, Agatha All Along and The Bear.

MacBook Air M3 Model with screen open

There have been some fantastic deals on Apple tech over the last few months as it looks like the manufacturer has fully embraced larger discounts on its popular products. And now these offers are coming earlier than ever before, too. This brand-new version of the MacBook Air M2 with a performance-boosting 16GB of RAM only launched a few weeks ago so I’m surprised to see it’s already got a significant discount – but that’s Black Friday for you.

Even though a newer M3 version is available, we concluded that this is still one of the best laptops you can buy in our MacBook Air M2 review, thanks to the stylish design, clear display, impressive performance, and long 18-hour battery life. For those needing a premium powerhouse for creative apps such as photo editing, video editing and more intense workloads, this is a stellar offer on an Apple machine right now.

Deals on games consoles are also some of the most sought-after during Black Friday. No matter if you’re shopping for the PS5, Xbox Series X/S or a Nintendo Switch, the good news is there are a lot of offers around right now – including some record-low prices and excellent value bundles.

As a PS5 owner from shortly after launch, it’s the console I use the most and the one I’d recommend for most buyers as it has a strong, ever-growing library of games, with lots of big blockbusters and indie hits. The Switch is still a great buy, too, but be aware that there are strong rumors of a Switch 2 coming early in 2025.

I’ve listed a few standout console deals and bundles below.

The streaming deals are coming in thick and fast in the US with huge price cuts on Hulu, Max, Paramount Plus and more. One of the biggest and most popular of the bunch is this offer on Hulu’s ad-supported tier that drops it $0.99 per month for a whole year – that’s a saving of over $100 off the usual price.

Get Hulu for $0.99 per month

Hello to those on the US east coast joining me at this slightly more socialable hour than when I started. The good news is you haven’t really missed much as basically all of the deals that were available throughout the week are still up for grabs today. I’ll be sharing some of my top picks over the next few hours from the sale at Amazon, Best Buy, Walmart, Dell, Samsung, and more.

For retailers in the US, you’ve got the big three of Amazon, Best Buy and Walmart leading the way with some of this year’s largest sales and biggest reductions. In fact, I’d say things are stronger in the US right now – so lucky you!

Some of the top deals I’ve seen include TVs from as little as $59.99, record-low prices on Apple MacBooks, iPads and AirPods, and first-timg discounts on new products such as the latest Kindle Paperwhite and Dyson Digital Slim.

More on this year’s Black Friday sale period being the longest I’ve ever seen now.

I saw that Black Friday effectively kicked off at the start of the month in the UK, with sales at the likes of Currys and Argos beginning on or around November 1 . These have expanded with more deals on TVs, laptops, vacuums, toys, and headphones each week.

Today, you’ll see other major retailers have joined them, including Amazon, John Lewis, AO and Very, where the best offers are on smart home tech, Kindles, major appliances, and clothing. There truly is something for everyone.

Collage of tech products from the Best Buy Black Friday sale, including MacBook, Bose headphones, Apple Watch, LG TV, Dyson vacuum and PS5

Let’s catch up with what’s happening at Best Buy for a minute. The retailer has dropped new doorbuster deals every Friday throughout November and it’s about to do the same tomorrow.

While you can still pick up some big deals on Dyson, Samsung, Apple today, these are the offers worth looking out for tomorrow when the next batch of Black Friday deals drop at Best Buy.

Best Buy Black Friday Doorbusters coming Nov 29:

  • Xbox Series X 2TB Galaxy Black Special Edition
  • Apple MacBook Pro M4
  • Lenovo IdeaPad 1
  • Roku 65-inch 4K Smart TV
  • Meta Quest 3
  • Samsung Galaxy S24 FE
  • Canon EOS R100
  • Samsung 65-inch Neo QLED 4K TV

Fancy trying out a new streaming service or returning to an old favorite to catch up on the latest shows you’ve missed. Well, would you look at that, there are huge new and returning subscriber offers for the likes of Hulu, Max, Disney Plus and Paramount Plus this Black Friday.

For me, I’d be looking at Max as I’m yet to watch The Penguin, House of the Dragon or Dune Prophecy. That service has slashed the price of its Standard with ads plan to a measly $2.99 a month for six months. More than enough time for me to get through those three shows and lots more!

Get six months of Max for $17.94

Nothing Ear a against a white background with the text

One deal that’s proven popular with shoppers in the Black Friday sales and in the TechRadar office is this record-low price for the Nothing Ear (a) at Amazon. I’ll admit, I’d never considered this brand until our audio editor sang their praises in our five-star review of the Nothing Ear (a). Top-end sound quality, excellent noise cancellation, great battery life and a comfy fit? All for much less than a pair of AirPods? That’s a bargain.

Nothing Ear (a): was £99 now £69 at Amazon

The Dyson Digital Slim on a pink background with text saying Big Savings.

It’s almost unheard of to get a Dyson vacuum for under $250 but trust the Black Friday sales to shatter all expectations and throw up what I think is one of this year’s best-ever deals.

The Dyson Digital Slim has been slashed by $220 at Best Buy, making the brand-new entry-level vacuum a huge steal over Black Friday. Given it’s just released, we haven’t had an opportunity to test it ourselves, but the specs put it on a similar level to the Dyson V8, which is a solid all-around vacuum for most pet-free homes.

Expect decent performance for your everyday cleaning with the Digital Slim, then, plus the premium design and features that come with a Dyson.

Dyson Digital Slim: was $499.99 now $229.99 at Best Buy

So, what are the headlines you need to know right now?

Well, as I’ve said, it’s been Black Friday for about a month already in the UK, as retailers such as Currys and Argos both kicked off their sales at the start of November. The pace hasn’t slowed ever since with deals dropping left, right and centre, each and every week.

In terms of standout deals, so far this year’s sales have been great for TVs, headphones and vacuums in particular. I’ll pick out some specific offers over the next couple of hours that are 100% recommended buys if you’re in the market for any of these for yourself or a loved one. Stay tuned, folks, it’s gonna be a long one!

A very early happy Thanksgiving to those of you joining me in the US right now and good morning to everyone in the UK who’s already up searching for this year’s best Black Friday deals.

As someone who’s covered Black Friday for nearly ten years now I’ve seen that this is the longest sales so far with many events kicking off at the start of November and running all through the month. That means many offers are already live today so you can score some excellent bargains on a whole host of top-rated tech.

I’ve picked out some of the best Black Friday sales for you to browse through right here, as well as the headline deals from each retailer you don’t want to miss.

I’ll continue adding more over the next 48 hours and into the weekend as the event ramps up. I’ll also share individual deals recommended by TechRadar’s team of expert reviewers on products such as laptops, TVs, headphones, vacuums, and more that they’ve tested and think are worth buying this Black Friday.
