John Madden is an absolute legend who has had multiple careers in football, from coaching a Super Bowl team to becoming one of the biggest broadcasters to enjoying turducken on Thanksgiving.

And it’s that annual Thursday holiday where the NFL has decided to continue honoring Madden. In 2022, there were Madden field logos and helmet stickers on Thanksgiving, and last year teams wore special patches to honor Madden.

In 2024? It’s happening again.

Madden jersey patches will be worn by all six teams playing on Turkey Day. A special Madden coin is tossed – the head is a Madden silhouette, the tail is a turducken. There will also be Madden tributes on-air and on-field for all three games.
