Despite the cold, wet weather, people gathered in New York City for the annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.

The event marks the 100th year of the parade and included more than 30 balloons and 20 floats, 11 marching bands and 10 performance groups.

The Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade has been the most watched entertainment show in the US for the past three years.
