My Chemical Romance drummer Bob Bryar was found dead at the age of 44

My Chemical Romance drummer Bob Bryar has been found dead at the age of 44.

According to TMZ, Bryar was found dead at his home in Tennessee on Tuesday.

He was last seen alive on November 4.

The cause of death is unknown, but the outlet reported that no foul play was expected.

A medical examiner will perform an autopsy to determine the cause of death, TMZ reports.

Bryar was the band’s last official drummer, who rose to popularity in the mid-2000s and performed with them between 2004 and 2010.

Bryar met the band, consisting of Gerard Way, Ray Toro, Mikey Way and Frank Iero, while working as a touring sound engineer for The Used, with whom My Chemical Romance was touring at the time.

He replaced the band’s former drummer, Matt Pelissier, shortly after the release of their second album Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge.

According to Billboard, Bryar was asked to replace Pelissier in mid-2004 before the band had ever heard him play drums.

Bryar continued to tour with the band as part of their critically acclaimed third studio album The Black Parade.

During his time with the band he was injured a number of times.

Bryar suffered third-degree burns when his hands and legs caught fire during the shooting of the Famous Last Words video, during which Gerard Way also suffered torn ligaments in his ankle, forcing the band to cancel upcoming tour dates.

During a tour in 2007, Bryar started having problems with his wrists. He told his MySpace followers that he had a “golf ball-sized lump” in his wrist that was causing pain and causing him to lose control and feeling in his fingers, NME reported at the time. .

Not long after My Chemical Romance’s fourth album, Danger Days: The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys, was released in 2010, Bryar left the band.

His departure was announced on the band’s website by guitarist Frank Iero.

“It was a painful decision for all of us and was not taken lightly,” Iero wrote at the time.

“We wish him the best of luck in his future endeavors and expect the same from you all.”

In 2014, Bryar left the music industry and auctioned off some of his My Chemical Romance memorabilia to support numerous animal rescue groups.

In a now-deleted tweet from 2014, Bryar announced he was leaving the music industry to work in real estate.

My Chemical Romance were set to play a number of stadium shows in the US and Canada next year in honor of The Black Parade. Bryar wouldn’t play.
