Rockefeller Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony: Date, How to Watch

Everyone’s favorite annual dose of Christmas cheer is coming to our television screens soon.

The Rockefeller Tree Lighting Ceremony airs during the first week of December. This year’s tree was shipped from West Stockbridge, Massachusetts.

It is the first time the tree has come out of the state since 1959. He arrived in New York City earlier this month, on November 9.

The show is expected to be filled with exciting performances and more than 50,000 sparkling multi-colored lights. This is how you can watch:

Where to watch NBC’s ‘Christmas in Rockefeller Center’

The live broadcast will air on December 4 at 8pm ET on NBC and Peacock. It runs until 10pm ET.

Who organizes the special?

Earlier this month, singer Kelly Clarkson announced that she will host the two-hour special for the second year.

“The city is so magical. I love the holidays in New York. Living here during Christmas is like being in a movie. There is nothing like it in the world,” she said on her talk show “The Kelly Clarkson Show”. “

“I’m very excited,” she added. “I’m going to dress warmly again.”

NBC “TODAY” anchors Craig Melvin, Al Roker, Savannah Guthrie and Hoda Kotb will also be in attendance.
