Wisconsin football fans react to Badger’s terrible foul against Minnesota

There’s a lot at stake today for the Wisconsin football team.

A bowl berth. Paul Bunyan’s axe. And a victory against your biggest rival.

But you wouldn’t know it by the way Wisconsin played Minnesota in the first half — especially Braedyn Locke and the team’s offense.

Simply put, it was a disaster when Wisconsin was down 14-0.

And the fans who braved the cold at Camp Randall Stadium let the team know with boos, a common theme over the past two years.

Before kneeling in the final seconds of the half, the offense punted on all six of its possessions. The Badgers have yet to move into Minnesota territory or look like an offensive battle.

Locke is 5 of 13 passing for 37 yards, averaging 2.8 yards per pass. A number of his passes were deflected on the line and he was dismissed twice, dashing any hopes of attacking moves. The running game is non-existent, with a total of 6 yards.

Minnesota beats the Badgers 202-43. It is the first game this season that the Badgers are winless.

“We have to do something,” head coach Luke Fickell told CBS Sports’ sideline reporter.

Fans on social media didn’t hold back their disdain for the Badgers’ performance.
