Space and Time, a decentralized data platform backed by Microsoft’s M12 venture fund, has appointed Rika Khurdayan as its new Chief Legal Officer. Khurdayan previously served as US CLO of Bitstamp and founded KSTechLaw, a law firm specializing in crypto regulation.

“I am honored to join Space and Time Labs and their innovative team. The potential for transformative impact in blockchain and AI is enormous, and I look forward to using my expertise to navigate the complex legal landscape and deliver groundbreaking solutions to our users,” Khurdayan said in a press release.

Khurdayan joins Space and Time as the company prepares for its mainnet launch, the team told Crypto Briefing. Her strong background in crypto and blockchain technology is expected to help the project build a robust, compliant ecosystem and community.

Space and Time is building a decentralized data warehouse platform that provides a verifiable computing layer for AI and blockchain applications. The goal is to enable enterprises to interact with and gain insights from blockchain data without compromising security or performance.

In June, the company rolled out its Proof of SQL v1, the first ZK prover that processes data in under a second. Enterprises can run SQL queries on blockchain data using Proof of SQL, providing evidence that the results are tamper-proof.

Holiday said Space and Time will continue to develop advanced AI technologies in collaboration with technology giants such as Microsoft and NVIDIA.

“SxT will continue to drive innovation in AI with partners like Microsoft and NVIDIA to make it easier for developers to build on the blockchain, and we will pioneer verifiable data and computation for AI and blockchain via Proof of SQL. We are excited to expand community participation and ownership as we decentralize the network,” Holiday noted.
