WASHINGTON – Northern Virginia artist Shaboozey has the longest-running No. 1 single of 2024 on the Hot 100.

The Fairfax native’s hit “A Bar Song (Tipsy)” has been the No. 1 single of 2024 on the Hot 100 for seven weeks, surpassing Post Malone and Morgan Wallen’s “I Had Some Help.”

As summer draws to a close, the summer’s top songs are starting to be revealed. Former President Obama shared his summer playlist featuring Shaboozey and an additional Virginia artist, Tommy Richman.

Richman’s hit “Million Dollar Baby” was released in April and reached number two on the US Billboard Hot 100.
