    Lamar Jackson praises Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes ahead of Week 1 game

    The Baltimore Ravens will play the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 1 of the 2024 season. The two teams met last season in the AFC Championship game, which Kansas City won.

    When talking about Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, Baltimore quarterback Lamar Jackson had high praise for the three-time Super Bowl champion. He said that while he doesn’t really have a relationship with a quarterback in the NFL, Mahomes is a great quarterback and has the accolades to back it up.

    “I don’t have a relationship with (Patrick Mahomes). I don’t think I have a relationship with any quarterback in the league. I don’t take anything from (Patrick Mahomes), I just play my own game. But he’s a great quarterback. I’m going to say that. He’s a great quarterback. He’s got the accolades to prove it, and he’s made things happen on the field that make his team successful.”

    The Ravens will be looking to get a big win against Kansas City in Week 1, while the Chiefs will also be looking to start strong. The game should be a heavyweight clash, something everyone is looking forward to.
