PHOENIX — Democratic vice presidential candidate Gov. Tim Walz plans to visit Arizona on Tuesday during a series of political events in the Southwest.

The Phoenix event is expected to begin at 5:30 p.m. Specific event details have not yet been released.

Walz visits the city a week after Sen. JD Vance spoke twice in the Valley.

This will be Walz’s first solo trip to the Valley since becoming Vice President Kamala Harris’ running mate. Harris and Walz held a campaign event at the Desert Diamond Arena in Glendale early last month.
