The Bulldogs were dominant again, so it’s the same old story right? This is of course a real national title contender.

Trevor Etienne returned from a one-game suspension this weekend and ran for 78 yards on five carries. If he becomes a regular part of the offense, it’s just something to worry about.

The Buckeyes were dominant again against a non-Power Four opponent, so nothing new here. But after this weekend, it’s clear that this team is the best in the Big Ten after two games.

Things can change quickly, but Ohio State has done nothing to dissuade people from thinking this is a title contender. A well-deserved high spot in the rankings.

Texas went to Ann Arbor and immediately took control. Michigan didn’t score a touchdown until it was over.

Good luck stopping the Longhorns’ offense with Quinn Ewers and a plethora of running backs. Isaiah Bond also showed up as a WR this weekend. National title contender confirmed.

Alabama struggled again with South Florida before exploding for 28 points in the fourth quarter. What is it about the Bulls that made them look a shade of green and gold?

Regardless, the Crimson Tide still pulled it off. This team will really be tested in SEC play, so we’ll have to wait and see if those early struggles are an indication of something bigger or nothing at all.

Ole Miss is an offensive juggernaut and it seems like Lane Kiffin just wants Jaxson Dart to stick around this year. Keep that same energy going into SEC play.

Ole Miss is everyone’s darling again. Can this team make a run? After two weeks, it certainly looks like an SEC outsider and a CFP contender late this fall.

Oregon defeated Boise State in a thriller on Saturday night. While some might want to punish the Ducks for a lackluster performance and a narrow win in two weeks, the coaches didn’t.

Dan Lanning and co. are still well-stocked on paper and there is still a long season to go. In the next 10 games they might be proven right.

The Nittany Lions struggled against Bowling Green over the weekend but managed to avoid the upset. Perhaps that should be considered a disappointment after a big win over West Virginia to open the season.

So don’t panic Penn State fans! This could be a blip on the radar. And as it stands, Penn State could be Ohio State’s biggest challenger.

Missouri has back-to-back shutouts to open the season, which is impressive no matter who you’re playing against.

The de facto fun team in the SEC that isn’t Ole Miss could certainly cause another upset this year. If the defense holds up and the offense runs through Brady Cook and Luther Burden, they’re dangerous.

Nico Iamaleava is a dog, you can’t deny that anymore. For two weeks in a row he seemed to be the best player on the field.

If he’s going to be that good, Tennessee is not a team to mess with. It seems like there are a lot of teams looking to catch Georgia or at least become the breakout team in the SEC. Tennessee could be that team, as the Volunteers might have the best quarterback.

Utah opened Big 12 play with a 23-12 win over Baylor to move to 2-0 on the season. It was a fast start, as they led 17-0 after the first quarter.

Sure, the Utes had to hang in there a bit longer, but it was still a solid win and Kyle Whittingham’s team now finds itself in the top 10 in mid-September.
