Pro Football Hall of Famer turned sports media personality Shannon Sharp broke his silence after his Instagram account went live on Wednesday (September 11) with audio of an alleged sexual encounter.

“Please be advised, my Instagram account @ShannonSharpe84 was hacked this morning. My team and I are working hard to resolve this. – UNC,” Sharpe wrote in a post on his Instagram Story.

The Instagram Live video appears to have been filmed with the phone face down on a table, while a woman can be heard panting in the background as sexual activity takes place. A man can be heard saying, “Let me put this cock in you,” “you know what I like,” and “that’s my Michelle,” in a voice that sounds similar to Sharpe’s.

The woman appears to call the man “Shannon” during the encounter. Sharpe, 56, joined ESPN‘s debate show First recording last year after leaving FS1‘S UndisputedThe former tight end is also the host of the podcasts Club Shay Shay And Nightcap opposite fellow NFL legend Chad Ochocinco Johnson.

Sharpe won the Super Bowl three times, twice with the Denver Broncos and once with the Baltimore Ravens. He was a four-time first-team All-Pro, one-time second-team All-Pro, an eight-time Pro Bowler, and was selected to the NFL 1990s All-Decade Team during his playing career.
