Where to Watch All the 2024 Emmy Winners

A new TV season is in the pipeline.

With last night’s Emmy Awards, the 2023-2024 TV season officially comes to a close, and at the end of the night, FX came out on top with 36 wins. The network was second only to Netflix in total nominations, but FX’s “Shōgun” and “The Bear” were the night’s two most-nominated series.

“Shōgun” was the night’s big winner. Nominated for a total of 25 awards, the FX series won 18, including big wins for lead actress Anna Sawai, lead actor Hiroyuki Sanada and the night’s biggest prize, Outstanding Drama Series.

The FX original series, which also airs on Hulu, may be returning for a second season. Sanada has reportedly signed a deal to return to the series.

“The Bear” entered the night as the show’s second-most nominated with 23, and came out with the second-most wins. Its 11 categories won included three of the four acting awards in a comedy: Outstanding Lead Actor (Jeremy Allen White, winning his second consecutive Emmy), Outstanding Supporting Actress (Liza Colón-Zayas) and Outstanding Supporting Actor (Ebon Moss-Bachrach, also winning his second Emmy).

The FX original on Hulu won awards last night for its acclaimed second season, meaning its third season will be honored at this summer’s Emmys next year.

This year’s most-awarded miniseries is Netflix’s Baby Reindeer, an autobiographical dramedy created by and starring Scottish comedian Richard Gadd.

In addition to winning Outstanding Limited or Anthology Series, Gadd won two awards: Outstanding Lead Actor and Outstanding Writing, and star Jessica Gunning was named Outstanding Supporting Actress.

Max’s original “Hacks” entered the night with 16 nominations, and while the show only took home three, two of them were big surprises (where perhaps something else, “The Bear,” should have won): Jean Smart won for Best Lead Actress in a Comedy, while the show took home the night’s biggest comedy award, Best Comedy Series.
