Rams-Packers second half game thread

The Los Angeles Rams lead the Green Bay Packers by a score of 13-10 after the first half. Green Bay opened the scoring and had a 7-0 lead after the first quarter, but in the second quarter LA answered with 13 points of its own to take the lead and hold it through 30 minutes of play.

The Rams once again had some trouble scoring in the red zone, even failing to get a fourth goal early in the game. If Sean McVay’s team had converted, he would have looked like a genius, but he didn’t, and so observers may question the call to go for it instead of taking the easy field goal.

The Packers were able to score first fairly quickly on a deep completion to Jaylen Reed, but LA’s defense otherwise kept Green Bay in check for much of the first half. Credit LA’s offense for extending drives and eating up the clock to keep Jordan Love off the field.

With about two minutes left in the half, Love threw a pick six and LA took the lead, but would then miss the extra point. The score was 13-7, with the Packers having just over two minutes to score some points before the first half came to an end.

The Packers would add a field goal late in the second quarter to make the score 13-10 as they still trailed the Rams.
