Francisco Lindor’s wife felt ‘all the emotions’ during the Mets’ NLDS victory

Katia Reguero Lindor will remember a lot from Wednesday night, but one moment after the Mets’ NLDS win over the Phillies will forever stand out.

Shortly after the Mets defeated the Phillies in Game 4, Katia reflected on husband Francisco Lindor’s epic grand slam in the bottom of the sixth inning that gave the Mets a 4-1 lead they never relinquished.

“This moment will forever be etched in my mind,” Katia captioned a video on her Instagram Story featuring Lindor on the board. “Chills. Tears. Awe. Pride. All emotions at once.”

Katia also shared a video taken outside the Mets’ clubhouse at Citi Field, where she hugged Lindor, 30, as the crowd erupted in “MVP” chants.

“This moment,” Katia captioned the video, along with a crying face emoji and a flaming heart animation.

Katia and Lindor, who have been married since 2021, later celebrated with their two daughters on the field.

“Scenes from this emotional day,” Katia gushed in an Instagram post. “NLCS on the way!”

There was plenty of celebration at Citi Field, especially in the champagne-soaked clubhouse, which had been waiting for this milestone moment for the 15 years since the stadium opened.

Lindor, who arrived in New York via a trade with Cleveland three years ago, was showered with praise by his team.

‘He’s ready. He’s a cold guy. He’s the coldest guy I’ve ever been around,” outfielder Harrison Bader said.

While the Mets will enjoy this victory lap, they know the NLCS is just one step in an unlikely journey.

“I’m celebrating inside, but at the end of the day the job isn’t done yet,” Lindor said.

The Mets now await the winner of the Dodgers-Padres series, with Game 5 scheduled for Friday.

The NLCS starts on Sunday.
