Steph Curry leaves Warriors-Kings preseason game with a jammed finger – NBC Sports Bay Area and California

The last thing the Warriors need less than two weeks before the 2024-25 NBA season opener is an injury to Steph Curry, but that’s something they’re currently dealing with, though there doesn’t seem to be any reason to worry.

Curry, 36, left the Warriors’ preseason game against the Sacramento Kings Friday night at Chase Center after pinching a finger in the first half, with a team source telling NBC Sports Bay Area’s Monte Poole that the ailment “doesn’t seem serious.”

Curry was pulled from the game with 4:02 left in the first half and a short time later we headed to the Warriors locker room with Rick Celebrini, the team’s director of sports medicine and performance.

When the second half started, Curry was not part of the starting lineup and was not on the bench.

According to the Warriors, Curry was in the weight room working out during the second half of the game.

Curry finished Friday with six points on 2-for-7 shooting from the field and 1-for-4 from 3-point range in 16 minutes of action.

The Warriors have three remaining preseason games before opening the regular season against the Portland Trail Blazers on October 23.
