The New England Patriots have extended their worst losing streak in the NFL to five games. The latest of those losses came Sunday against the visiting Houston Texans, who marched into Gillette Stadium and ultimately left with a 41-21 win in hand.

The Texans jumped out to a 14-0 lead early and never looked back. The Patriots, on the other hand, were unable to string together enough positive plays, with starting quarterback Drake Maye and company ultimately turning the ball over four times while also being inconsistent on the defensive side of the ball. .

As a result, first-year head coach Jerod Mayo’s team is now 1-5 on the year.
