Tomorrow the first cold front of many will arrive!

LAWTON, Okla. (KSWO) – Happy Saturday! I hope everyone had a great day. Today was warm, with highs reaching into the 90s for many and some even topping 100°. Tomorrow’s cold front is currently in northern Oklahoma and will move south during the overnight hours.

Tomorrow around daybreak we will see very gusty winds from north to northeast with speeds of 10 to 25 km/h. Wind gusts up to 30 km/h. The cooler air associated with this cold front will slow, so highs under partly cloudy skies will reach the upper 80s to low 90s. No precipitation is expected with the front passage.

Mostly cloudy on Monday with some clear spells during the day. The cooler air mass will settle and drop into the low 80s. Light north to south winds.

Tuesday afternoon temperatures will warm into the upper 80s under partly cloudy skies. This warming will remain short-lived as another cold front dives southward Tuesday evening. The wind turns to the northeast at speeds of 10 to 20 km/h. The expected wind gusts will be higher.

Unfortunately, there will be no precipitation during this frontal passage. We won’t reach the mid 70s until Wednesday afternoon with a mix of sun and clouds.

The third and final cold front in the seven-day forecast will move in Saturday morning. Highs will fall back into the mid 70s, but with this front, models suggest widespread rain! It’s still early and it’s still seven days away, but the First Alert Weather Team will be keeping a close eye on this trend!

Happy Sunday! -LW
