2 dead, 1 seriously injured after accident on NH highway

Two people were killed and one person was seriously injured in a crash on a highway in New Hampshire on Wednesday.

Troopers responded to the crash on I-95 southbound in Greenland around 1:13 p.m

An initial investigation revealed that a 2023 Toyota Camry driven by 24-year-old Steve Le of Methuen was traveling northbound when he lost control of the vehicle, crossed the median and collided with a 2019 Ford Econoline that was was driven by Leslie. Lynn, 58, of Roanake, Virginia.

Le and Lynn were pronounced dead at the scene. A passenger in Lynn’s Ford was transported to a nearby hospital to be treated for serious injuries.

Both the northbound and southbound lanes of I-95 remained closed near the crash site at mile marker 9.2.

Emergency services are clearing the debris and investigating the crash. Traffic was directed via exit 3.

New Hampshire State Police reminded motorists that using a cell phone while driving, crossing the median and using emergency vehicle overpasses are illegal and unsafe.
