Oklahoma football will get a chance to experience “Beamer Ball” and South Carolina on Saturday.

Former Sooners assistant head coach and tight ends coach Shane Beamer returns to Norman to face his former team. Oklahoma is coming off a porous offensive performance in the Red River Rivalry against rival Texas in a 34-3 loss last week in Dallas. Meanwhile, the Gamecocks nearly put No. 4 Alabama on the road last week, but fell short by a two-point conversion.

Saturday is the first on-field meeting for the Sooners and Gamecocks. The teams won’t have to wait long for a second meeting as they will face each other in 2025 in Columbus, South Carolina.
