The Oklahoma Sooners are looking for a bounce-back performance this week against the South Carolina Gamecocks. Oklahoma may be reeling from its loss to the Texas Longhorns in the Cotton Bowl last week.

South Carolina, on the other hand, played the Alabama Crimson Tide to within two points in Tuscaloosa. While they didn’t get the win, it’s the second time this season they’ve played one of the top programs within a score.

This game has the chance to be a defensive slugfest if the Oklahoma Sooners can contain LaNorris Sellers. Oklahoma’s offense has struggled for much of this season and the Gamecocks provide another tough test for the Sooners to get into gear on the offensive side of the ball.
