ECU blown out by undefeated Army

GREENVILLE, N.C. (WITN) – After making the switch to Katin Houser at quarterback, the outcome was no better for East Carolina in a 45-28 rout at the hands of Army.

Houser got off to a slow start in the first half, but then rallied to throw for three touchdowns and rushed for another in the second half. At that point, however, the match was out of reach.

On the other sideline, Bryson Daily torched the Pirate defense by running for five touchdowns and passing for another, bringing him to 26 totals on the year (19 rushing, 7 passing). His Black Knights also remain perfect at 7-0, while ECU drops to 3-4 (and 1-2 in the conference).

Then, ECU returns home for the next two weeks, including the Homecoming Game vs. Temple this Saturday at 2 p.m.
