Patriots vs. Jaguars gameday roster: Who’s lining up for the Pats in London

The New England Patriots are back in London, playing their first game in Great Britain since the 2012 season. Between them and a 3-0 record in the city are the Jacksonville Jaguars, who – like the Patriots – have until now were among the worst teams in the NFL this season.

Here’s who the Patriots will rely on to get them to 2-5.

Another week, another offensive line combination for the Patriots. This week the group is expected to see changes at both tackle spots and right guard.

With left tackle Vederian Lowe inactive due to the ankle injury he suffered last week, the team had to reschedule the game again. Right tackle Demontrey Jacobs is expected to fill that spot, with Michael Onwenu moving back to right tackle – a position he already played between Weeks 1 and 4. Onwenu’s right guard spot, meanwhile, will be filled by former starter Layden Robinson; the rookie makes his return after spending the last two games on the bench.

The other spots along the starting line will be filled by left guard Michael Jordan and center Ben Brown. The former obviously started the year on the practice squad, while the latter was just signed last week.

Elsewhere, the Patriots’ roster looks pretty much as expected heading into Sunday. Rhamondre Stevenson is back running after a week’s absence; New England is working with the same five-receiver group it used in Week 6; Ochaun Mathis provides depth at the edge behind Anfernee Jennings and Joshua Uche; Joe Cardona is back at long-term after his trip to the inactive list last Sunday.

New England’s reserve rosters saw no significant changes since last week’s game against Houston. The inactives, meanwhile, have no big surprises: the inactivity of left tackle Vederian Lowe was already known in advance, while players like wide receiver Tyquan Thornton and defensive tackle Jeremiah Pharms Jr. seem to have slid down.

The Patriots’ Week 7 matchup against the Jaguars kicks off at 9:30 a.m. ET at Wembley Stadium.
