Former President Donald Trump called Kamala Harris a “sh** vice president” and implied that golfer Arnold Palmer was well-endowed during an extended Saturday rally in Pennsylvania that capped a tumultuous week on the campaign trail.

During a speech in Latrobe, Pennsylvania, where Palmer was born, Trump delivered a lengthy monologue about the late golfer’s life story and praised him as “a man,” including an off-color joke about Palmer’s anatomy.

“Arnold Palmer was all man, and I say that with all due respect to women – and I love women,” Trump said. “But this man, this man, this is a man who was all man. This man was strong and tough. And I refuse to say it, but when he was in the shower with the other pros, that’s where they came from, they said : ‘Oh my God, that’s incredible.'”

In the final weeks of the 2024 campaign, Trump’s rally speeches largely mirror the same trajectory as earlier this year — meandering messages painting a bleak picture of an America ruled by Democrats and overrun by migrants, touting a tariff-driven economic plan that is light. over details, and aggressively railing against his political opponents – especially Democrats like Harris.

After an extended riff in which he mocked Sen. Elizabeth Warren of Massachusetts, Trump said Harris was “more radically left-wing” than Warren and Sen. Bernie Sanders of Vermont.

“So you need to tell Kamala Harris that you’ve had enough, you just can’t take it anymore, we can’t stand you, you’re a bad vice president,” Trump told a cheering crowd. ‘The worst. You’re the worst vice president. Kamala, you’re fired! Get out of here!’

Trump then asked the crowd how they liked his campaign plane flyover before he landed and encouraged them to vote.

It was an unusually energetic meeting for the former president, who has looked and sounded tired lately as he worked multiple events and interviews a day in multiple swing states.

Harris’ campaign has made a targeted effort to highlight Trump’s energy levels as part of a closing message arguing that the 78-year-old does not have the stamina or fitness to lead the country.

“He’s only focused on himself, and now he’s avoiding debates and canceling interviews due to exhaustion,” Harris said at a rally in Atlanta on Saturday evening. “And when he answers a question or speaks at a meeting, have you noticed that he has a tendency to go off script and ramble, and generally can’t finish a thought for the rest of his life?”

Trump had a rough week and there were only a few of them left in the election

With less than 17 days before the final votes for the election will be cast, Trump’s campaign blitz has hit several bumps in the past week.

On Monday, a town hall in Oaks, Pennsylvania, was interrupted by two medical incidents in the hot, crowded room. After the second call for a doctor, Trump decided to stop the question-and-answer session and instead played music for more than half an hour, swaying along to his favorite songs on stage as the audience watched.

On Tuesday, he sat for a controversial interview with Bloomberg News, taped a Fox News town hall that focused on women’s issues and then delivered remarks in suburban Atlanta, where he struck a somber tone about potentially losing the election.

“If you don’t win, win, win, we all had a good time, but that doesn’t matter, right?” he asked. “Unfortunately, because what we have done is great: three nominations in a row, what we have done. We have to win. If we don’t win, it’s as if it didn’t cost much.” We can’t let that happen.”

On Wednesday, Trump’s town hall aired on Fox with an all-female audience, where he called himself the “father of IVF” and said Alabama Senator Katie Britt (a “fantastically attractive person”) should explain to him what in vitro fertilization used to be . he supported it.

He also participated in a Univision town hall with Latino voters, where he doubled down on false claims about Haitian migrants eating pets in Ohio and called the Jan. 6 insurrection attempt a “day of love.”

At a Catholic charity dinner in New York on Thursday known for its jokes, Trump’s comments were largely aimed at Harris, who was not present. At his Friday rally in Michigan, the microphone stopped working a few minutes into his speech when he started talking about tariffs.

Trump walked around the stage in silence for about twenty minutes until the sound was restored, as the screens behind him finally said “TECHNICAL DIFFICULTIES” and “COMPLICATED MATTERS.”

“If it goes off again, I’ll sue them,” Trump half-joked about the production company.

Trump has another rally in Pennsylvania on Sunday evening and a full week of events in key states ahead. More than 13 million people have already voted in the presidential election, with just over two weeks to go.
