A video appearing to show Donald Trump being booed and heckled during Sunday’s Pittsburgh Steelers game has gone viral on social media.

A seven-second clip shows a member of the crowd looking at the box from which the Republican presidential candidate watched the game. Cheers can be heard, and someone can be heard saying, “Get him out of town.” MeidasTouch, a media network that regularly criticizes Trump, posted the clip on X, formerly Twitter, on Sunday. As of Monday morning, the video had been viewed more than 292,000 times.

With the presidential election two weeks away, Trump and his Democratic opponent, Vice President Kamala Harris, are campaigning to win Pennsylvania’s 19 electoral votes. In 2020, Allegheny County, which includes Pittsburgh, elected Joe Biden with 59 percent of the vote to Trump’s 39 percent.

The video shows Trump standing in a corporate box at the stadium and pumping his fist at the crowd as it chants “USA.” In the row of seats in front of the box, some supporters can be seen recording him on their phones. Two supporters pump their fists back, and a woman raises her middle finger at the former president. Martin’s video had been viewed more than 607,700 times as of Monday morning.

MeidasTouch disputed the authenticity of Martin’s message, saying the chants were intended to honor a Navy SEAL.

“Steelers honor a Navy SEAL during game. Chants of ‘USA’ ERUPT!” the network wrote in the caption of a separate video.

“MAGA is trying to claim these ‘USA’ chants were for Trump. That’s just more stolen courage from MAGA. We hear the Steelers didn’t even show Trump on the Jumbotron once,” the caption continued.

Charlie Kirk, an influencer of the Make America Great Again movement, posted another clip of the “USA” chants in the stadium. He wrote in the caption, “Real footage of the Steelers game tonight, NBC won’t show you.”

The video shows some fans in the rows of seats directly in front of Trump’s box, facing the former president during the chant. However, there are many more fans on the field.

Kirk’s video had been viewed more than 2.9 million times as of Monday morning.

Before the game, Trump posted an image on Truth Social that appeared to be generated by AI. It showed the former president with an athletic, muscular build and wearing a Steelers uniform.

After the game, which the Steelers won 37-15 against the New York Jets, Trump thanked the fans.

“Thank you to the Steelers fans for the great reception tonight,” Trump wrote on Truth Social. “November 5 will be the most important day in the history of our country! MAGA2024!!!”
