Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 launches on October 25 with 16 multiplayer maps at launch. Unlike 2023’s Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III, the selection of maps for Black Ops are all brand new at launch. Modern Warfare III debuted with a number of maps recycled from previous games – and players voiced their frustrations and concerns about this – but Black Ops 6 will hit the ground running with all-new maps.

“We know that map flow and variety are crucial for the best player experience, and we have a great mix of map sizes at launch for Black Ops fans,” said developer Treyarch.

More maps will be released over time through the game’s seasonal model, including the latest version of Nuketown in November, so check back with GameSpot for more information.
