It’s that time of year again: we’re close to the release date of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 and Activision has revealed all the juicy details surrounding the launch of the upcoming first-person shooter.

In addition to the game’s exact release times around the world, the publisher has detailed when players will be able to pre-load the title – a handy feature for anyone who likes to jump straight into the action on release day without having to wait for a lengthy download. First. This is especially relevant due to Call of Duty’s notoriously large storage needs.

Activision will officially release Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 on October 24, 2024, between 4am and 11pm PT on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC (via Microsoft Store). However, that’s really just a convoluted way of communicating that the game will get a classic local midnight release on October 25, 2024, with some favorable exceptions for the US.

It’s worth noting that this time slot includes the game’s rollout on Xbox Game Pass. Because this is a regional release deployment, you can use the New Zealand trick on Xbox to access the game as early as October 24, 2024 at 4:00 AM PT. Simply change the location of your console to the island and start playing.

Things are less complicated for the release of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 on PC via Steam and Battle.net, which takes place at a fixed time around the world.
