On October 21, WWE RAW ring announcer Samantha Irvin posted a statement on social media announcing that she was leaving WWE. The circumstances of her departure were unclear.

Mike Johnson from PWInsider later reported that Samantha Irvin had resigned from her position, according to multiple sources within the company. He wrote that Irvin had “left” the company, and WWE was informed earlier in the day on Monday. The report notes that the reason for Irvin’s departure was unconfirmed.

Sean Ross Sapp from Fighting spirit also reported that Irvin resigned from her position, according to that in WWE.

Irvin has been linked to AEW as Ricochet, her fiancé, recently joined the company. He made his debut at AEW All In in August. However, Ricochet wrote that Irvin would not be joining AEW after her departure from the WWE.

Lilian Garcia returned as WWE RAW ring announcer on October 21, hours after Irvin’s announcement.
