The internet is reacting to Joe Rogan’s announcement about Donald Trump

Amid the announcement that presidential candidate Donald Trump will appear on Joe Rogan’s famed podcast, fans and dissenters alike are flocking to social media to share their opinions. X (formerly known as Twitter) is buzzing with opinions from both Republicans and Democrats. Trump’s announcement comes after rumors that Harris would appear on the controversial program.

Vice President Kamala Harris’ decision to appear on Alex Cooper’s podcast Call her daddythe second most popular podcast on Spotify, it has been both mocked and praised by its fans and critics. The Joe Rogan Experience holds the number 1 spot on the platform.

One comedic story joked that Rogan should use both candidates’ interest to essentially force them into a second debate.

Some Trump supporters have said the former president will be “in his element,” although Rogan has previously stated he is “not a Trump supporter in any way, shape or form.”

Harris’ opponents are skeptical that the vice president will appear on the podcast, with some saying that if she does, she will perform poorly.

Forbes has reported that “both candidates have spoken with Rogan’s team to broaden their appeal to young men.” One Harris supporter disparaged Rogan fans, but hoped that if Harris followed Rogan, she might be able to sway some of those male voters. “Joe Rogan is an idiot, but a lot of men are stupid too, so it makes sense that Kamala meets voters where they are,” they wrote.

Meanwhile, some Harris fans went so far as to suggest that if she were to follow Rogan, it could win the election for her.

Rogan praised Harris’ performance in her only debate against Donald Trump, but did not go so far as to endorse her.
