Marvel actor Tom Holland teases the development of Spider Man 4 for weeks, with it revealed last week that the latest version of the script “lit a fire under him.” Even in offering that update, however, Holland didn’t want to commit to a specific time frame or release date for when the film would hit the cameras. That, coupled with the news that he’s attached to Christopher Nolan’s new film, has fans wondering when Marvel’s Spider Man 4 will finally lift off the ground and start swinging. Speaking in an appearance on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallonobviously the subject of Spider Man 4 was raised by the host. Fallon addressed the elephant in the room by simply pointing out that rumors are circulating Spider Man 4 happens. Holland chuckled at the question and asked Fallon, “What do you want to know?”

When asked to confirm the news of Spider Man 4Tom Holland said simply, “It happens.” Fallon hugged him after sharing the news, prompting Holland to add: “Yes, next summer– Next summer we start shooting, all is good to go, we’re almost there, super exciting. I can’t wait.”

Who will direct Spider-Man 4?
