‘America’s Got Talent’ future ‘in turmoil’, they have no ‘budget’ to pay celebrity judges

“The future of the show is in turmoil and the end result is that they don’t have the budget they used to have to afford these people,” an industry insider said exclusively. Life and style.

Executive producer and head judge Simon Cowell65, revealed in a recent interview that he has not renewed his famous costars’ multimillion-dollar contracts.

“Simon is very clear that the audience tunes in to see the acts, not the judges,” says the source. “It’s entirely possible he’ll shake things up and hire all the new players to sit at the table with him!”

“Cutbacks need to be made to the show so that no one gets the royal treatment anymore,” the insider adds. “What’s really worrying is that Heidi, Sofía and Howie won’t come cheap, and the powers that be may have to bring in C-list talent if they can’t make a deal!”

Simon is “first and foremost a businessman,” an insider insists: “He will keep the show on the air, but he is also a pragmatist. He knows he has to make a profit for the network and for himself, so he will cut corners if necessary.”

Network honchos have teased to bring back former judges, including Baywatch star David Hasselhoff and controversial journalist Piers Morgan – but according to the source, those are not the only changes under discussion.

“Everything is up in the air right now,” the insider continues. “Everyone from producers to the littlest production assistants are worried and hoping that Simon can work his magic and find the money they deserve.”

Another source close to the show said the opposite is true, stressing that the bosses don’t prioritize the acts, just spend their time and money keeping the judges happy!
