The Michigan Wolverines held on for a big rivalry win over the Michigan State Spartans on Saturday night 24-17 at the Big House, but it was what happened after the clock hit triple zeros that caught the attention of college football fans.

Immediately after the match emotions flared. As Michigan began celebrating, Wolverine’s Colston Loveland and Sparta defensive lineman Anthony Jones were locked in and began a skirmish between a handful of players from each school.

Loveland let out a zinger once things calmed down.

“Little brother, keep doing little things,” Loveland told FOX Sports. “So MSU, the little brother. They can do whatever they want. We knew it was going to be a little messy. But whatever is within the boundaries of the game, we do well. And then if they want to get started, they will we get busy.”

Loveland caught a clutch touchdown pass in the fourth quarter to put him up 12 points. Donovan Edwards threw him a 23-yard pass for the score. Then Loveland helped complete the two-point conversion.

He finished with six catches for 67 yards and two touchdowns.
