    The Cowboys didn’t lose this past week as they were gone and licking their wounds from the big loss to Detroit, leaving them at 3-3. The defending NFC champion 49ers lost a Super Bowl rematch to Kansas City, dropping the score to 3-4.

    The 49ers are a 5 1/2-point home favorite over the Cowboys in the NFL Week 8 odds for the game, courtesy of BetMGM Sportsbook. San Francisco is at -225 on the moneyline, while Dallas is +185. The over/under (point total) is 47 points.

    Dallas Cowboys running back Dalvin Cook appears to be in line to make his season debut against San Francisco.

    Star linebacker Micah Parsons (ankle) and cornerback DaRon Bland (foot) are out again on Sunday evening. Bland’s replacement in the starting lineup in 2024, Caelen Carson, is questionable due to a shoulder injury.

    Parsons will miss his third straight game. Bland has yet to play this season.
