GOP Sen. Katie Britt is pushing Lara Trump to fill Marco Rubio’s vacancy in Florida

Newly elected President Donald Trump’s Cabinet appointments have led to a job shift, with Republicans clamoring to move into higher positions. The latest to land a promotion could be Trump’s daughter-in-law, Lara Trump.

In an interview with Axios, Republican Senator Katie Britt of Alabama lobbied for Lara, who is currently co-chair of the RNC, to fill Marco Rubio’s soon-to-be vacant Senate seat — if Trump were indeed to select him into office as Secretary of State. administration.

According to Britt, Lara understands the ‘agenda’.

“She understands the America First agenda,” she added. “To me, I think she would be a great choice, a voice for hardworking families and another mother of school-aged children who understands what we are up against, and that is fighting to protect the American dream.”

Plus, Lara “just scored a historic victory,” Britt said, referencing Lara’s role in securing more MAGA votes with the help of her BFF Scott Presler.

Lara has not officially spoken about the public support. But as these things usually go, no one who wants it says he wants it.
