Sunday marked the celebration of National Tight Ends Day around the NFL. As Week 8 began, tight ends from around the league stepped up to the plate in honor of National Tight Ends Days.

Travis Kelce, Tucker Kraft, David Njoku, Cade Oton, Kyle Pitts, Dalton Kincaid, Sam LaPorta, Brock Wright, Adam Trautman, Nate Adkins, Tyler Conklin, Mark Andrews and Evan Engram all found the end zone on Sunday.

In the National Tight Ends day finale, George Kittle and the San Francisco 49ers took the stage against the Dallas Cowboys for Sunday Night Football.

In the second half, Kittle stepped up to the plate to celebrate National Tight Ends Day. Kittle caught a two-yard pass from Brock Purdy to officially get on the board with a touchdown. While flags were initially thrown for offensive pass interference on a Chris Conley pick to get Kittle open, the officials picked up the flags and waived the penalty to record the score.

Through three quarters, Kittle recorded six receptions for 128 yards and a touchdown against the Cowboys.
