Gisele Bundchen is pregnant and expecting her first child with jiu-jitsu pro partner Joaquim Valente, People has confirmed.

The supermodel, 44, has been dating Valente, 35, since June 2023, shortly after her divorce from Tom Brady, and this will be her third child and his first.

A source close to the star said: ‘Gisele and Joaquim are happy with this new chapter in their lives and they look forward to creating a peaceful and loving environment for the whole family.’

The star was pictured covering her stomach in a loose sweater on October 23. She appeared to have a slight bump and was holding her handbag in front of her stomach.

The star is already mom to son Benjamin, 14, and daughter Vivian, 11, from her marriage to NFL GOAT Tom Brady.

Joaquim, a Brazilian jiu-jitsu instructor, owns a jiu-jitsu studio in Miami with his brothers Pedro and Gui Valente.

They started dating in June 2023, after first meeting in December 2021, when she sought jiu-jitsu training for her son and subsequently decided to take classes as well.

In early July, the lovebirds enjoyed a summer vacation to Costa Rica with her two children.

She told Dust Magazine: ‘At first I didn’t even think about it. But when I took (her son Ben) to first grade and started talking to Joaquim, I realized it was much more than self-defense.”

She added that the jiu-jitsu philosophy interested her the most: “It felt very aligned with what I believe in and look for in my life, and how I have a path to develop and become the best version of to become myself.’

The duo sparked romance rumors when they were spotted together in Costa Rica in November 2022, two weeks after her divorce from Tom Brady was finalized.
