Portland Trail Blazers at Sacramento Kings: Game preview, prediction, time, TV channel

The Portland Trail Blazers headed straight from the Moda Center to the airport on Sunday night after beating the New Orleans Pelicans 125-103 to earn their first win of the season.

The Blazers avoided an 0-3 Portland lead after an impressive victory that they dominated from the second quarter onward.

Now the Blazers face the 0-2 Sacramento Kings looking for their first win.

The Kings have lost to the Minnesota Timberwolves (2-1) and Los Angeles Lakers (3-0) by a combined margin of six points.

The trio of center Domantas Sabonis (26.5 ppg., 10.0 rpg.), De’Aaron Fox (21.5 ppg, 10.5 apg.) and DeMar DeRozan (24.5 ppg.) could pose problems for the Blazers, despite how well they played defensively in their last two games (104 ppg.).

The Pelicans lacked both an impact point guard and a dominant center.

Prediction: The Blazers won 105-85 in Sacramento during the preseason. But the Kings need a win and the Blazers are playing their second game in two nights. Expect the Kings to send the Blazers to Los Angeles at 1-3.
