Storms bring rain and some damage to the green land

The tornado warning in Adair County has expired. A tornado watch remains in effect for several counties in Northeast Oklahoma until 3 a.m

A tornado was confirmed for the Wyandotte area in SE Ottawa County at 10:48 PM. This storm was moving NE toward Seneca, MO at 45 mph.

News On 6 storm tracker Kevin Tillotson suffered some storm damage on the north side of Grand Lake Wednesday evening.

A line of strong to severe storms moved across Oklahoma throughout the afternoon and evening. Below you will find weather updates:

Tornado watches

A tornado watch has been issued for several counties in Northeast Oklahoma until 3 a.m

Provinces included are:

  1. Adair
  2. Cherokee
  3. Delaware
  4. Haskell
  5. Latimer
  6. McIntosh
  7. Mayes
  8. Muskogee
  9. Okfuskee
  10. Okmulgee
  11. Pittsburg
  12. Sequoia
  13. Wagoner

Here is a general timeline for the top severe threats according to Chief Meteorologist Travis Meyer:

  1. Northwest of Tulsa: 7:00 PM – 10:00 PM
  2. Tulsa Metro & I-44 corridor: 10:00 PM – 12:00 PM
  3. Southeast of Tulsa: 12:00 PM – 3:00 AM

Large hail, damaging winds and a few tornadoes are all possible. Tornado risk will be moderate during the first storms into the evening, with a greater emphasis on damaging winds and embedded spin-ups after midnight and into early Thursday.
