Joe Rogan Says Kamala Harris Interview Is Off the Table Even Though He Rejected Her Terms, Including Traveling to Meet Her

Kamala Harris can’t get Joe Rogan out of his studio. Donald Trump recently spoke with Rogan for his podcast, The Joe Rogan experience, The baby of Spotify and a coveted source of entertainment or even information for young men. It’s a tight race and young men seem to be leaning toward Trump, so you can imagine that Harris appearing on Rogan’s podcast could be beneficial to her campaign, if it didn’t do more damage.

On Tuesday, Rogan wrote about X: “Also for the record, the Harris campaign did not pass on the podcast. They offered a date for Tuesday, but I would have to travel to her and they only wanted to do an hour. I strongly believe the best way to do this is in the studio in Austin. My sincere wish is to just have a nice conversation and get to know her as a person. I really hope we succeed.”

He seems to be suggesting that a conversation with the vice president is off the table, as long as it takes place in his studio in Austin, and perhaps longer than an hour. (Rogan’s conversation with Trump lasted three hours.) But with the presidential election a week away, it’s hard to predict when that might happen, especially since Harris delivered her closing argument Tuesday night, prosecutor-style. Interestingly enough, Trump’s running mate, JD Vance, will join Rogan in his studio on Wednesday.

Rogan’s post received comments from none other than Trump’s fiercest backer and the richest man in the world: Elon Musk. After all, he gave at least $132 million to elect Trump and other Republicans. “Good clarification. I would definitely watch that podcast,” he wrote, adding that the second hour would resemble the laughing, melting face emoji. You will have to decide for yourself what that means.

During Trump’s own appearance on the Rogan show, the former president said he hopes Harris does the podcast because “it would be a mess.” Rogan, on the other hand, said he thinks they would “have a good conversation.” Trump’s conversation with Rogan, in which they discussed alleged election fraud, Mars, taxes and tariffs, among other things, has been viewed more than 40 million times on YouTube alone.

Whatever happens, Harris already appeared in Alex Cooper’s Call her daddy Spotify’s second baby, also a coveted source of entertainment with a mix of advice, if you will, and open discussion for young women. Not to mention, Cooper went to Washington DC to talk to Harris; their conversation included what Harris calls her modern family, her famous question to Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh during his confirmation hearings, and her housing plan.

Regardless, during this podcast and social media-infused election, both Cooper and Rogan received some backlash for their decisions to have politicians on their shows. It’s not clear which presidential candidate made the difference, but right now polls show Harris has the smallest clues over Trump.
